Spaceship Management
Have you ever wanted to be in constant danger while piloting your spaceship across the Universe? Now you can do it, no need to thank me.
In Spaceship Management you'll get to control a spaceship on its way through natural and not so natural obstacles like nebulae, asteroid belts or even warzones filled with rockets.
Your job is to make sure your ship doesn't turn into dust while you are going from point A to point B. Your ship has 6 systems you have to take care of in order to stay alive:
- Life support. We all know, how important it is to stay hydrated, warm and full of oxygen - this system provides just that.
- Engines. Your ship can't really move without engines, so keep them running, they just need a constant supply of fuel and coolant.
- Hull. If your hull is full of holes, no life support system will be able to produce enough oxygen to fill the Universe, so patch them up when needed.
- Electrical. We can't live without electricity, and your spaceship is no exception. Make sure those wires are always connected.
- External. There are always little things we forget about everything that's around us, but when we lose those, we realize we can't live without them. Like the glass cleaners for your ship's cabin. If you want to see where you're going, you have to keep those in check.
- Computer. Who can imagine their life without a computer? Me neither. Your spaceship needs it even more than you do, so be prepared to fix some bugs in the programs for your ship.
As mentioned previously on your way to the destination you will encounter certain dangers that will try to prevent you from succeeding. Fret not, here are all of them, so you can prepare mentally for what awaits you:
- Asteroid belt with asteroids flying about wherever they please.
- Nebulae that just love getting in your way.
- Warzone that you happened to be in. But the rockets don't really care if you are friendly, you are still a target.
- Ice world makes sure your spaceship is cool. Too cool even.
- Star proximity is a situation you don't want to be in - a constantly pulsating deadly mass that isn't concerned with your pain.
While on the journey, you'll have to upgrade your ship to have aid in these trying regions. Collect coins and spend them on resources for your ship or new features. And if you still have some troubles with understanding how the game works, I invite you to try out the tutorial. It explains how the game works, so you won't have to keep wondering what you are doing.
Good luck and have fun!
It is recommended that you play the tutorial first. It is also recommended that you play the downloadable version, since it was designed to be played like that. You can still play in the web, but it was not fully tested and there are some issues with performance. However, if the web version works for you, you are welcome to continue playing that way too!
Additional information that you might need:
- You can close the system you are currently in by clicking outside the systems view, or by clicking RMB anywhere.
- Press F12 to toggle fullscreen.
- There are permanent saves only on stage 5 and 10, losing will bring you back to those stages, if you got that far. The game autosaves after each round.
